No not Rita or Tina.  LOL.  The new assistant that has been there for the last 2 or 3 weeks.  Very stuff and strait laced; never smiled.  Rarely spoke.  Where's she gone?

I think its an ongoing joke!  He had one assistant who never stopped talking and drove him mad.  Then he had one who never started talking and drove him mad.  Then he hired a perfect clone of himself who was then rude to the customers, methinks Rita will come back

I don't think you did, Frosty, cos I never miss an episode and I asked exactly the same question tonight. It was never explained. I guess we just have to assume.

We did see him tell her and the next thing he was telling someone else she took it  very badly. There's been some odd extra episodes lately so may be you did miss one

I saw that episode where he sacked her, thank goodness lol. I've also missed some episodes though because they keep changing the scheduling for Wednesdays and it's becoming very annoying - and it's usually football that upsets the schedule which is good news for hubby but not me  I thought the new assistant tonight was funny as he's such a clone of Norris but now he's got on the wrong side of him so wonder if he'll stay

I saw him do that and say that about the chatty one, but I never saw him say anything to the silent one - and I've got it on series link so it records them all?  Then again, I do tend to fall asleep when I'm watching and wake up and have to rewind, so I might have slept through it.

The pairing of Norris and Horace was comedy genius   (especially that he sacked Horace for acting like HE does). Surreal. Pity it was so short-lived.

We happened to catch that bit. One suspects that their conversation had Danjay rolling in the isle. Geigh innuendo beyond our own knowledge.
