I don't get all the negativity, I really don't.  I really can't see that much difference between here and the old Channel 4 forums, other than there aren't as many people using it on a regular basis.

I actually think this is better than C4, certainly Gaga in some ways. It seems a more neutral ground here, not so much 'collective thinking'

There are always going to be people you get on with better than others on any forum.  Even if there were only 3 people posting on here, there would be disagreements and falling outs.

I think what really annoys me, more than anything else, is the people who only post when there is a thread like this one or when there is a row going on.  They moan about the lack of activity on here, but then don't contribute themselves.

There are lots of threads that I don't post in because they don't appeal to me or I feel I have nothing to offer.  There are lots of threads that I do post in because I'm interested in the topic or can give someting to the discussion.  If there is nothing that appeals, I start a thread.  Most of the time, it drops like a rock *shrugs* but at least I am making an effort.

I would advise sleeping on it.

Kazzy just talk crap like the rest of us. I haven't been on my own page in months and usually lurk here all the time.

What irritates me is that no-one seems to be allowed to say anything negative about this place.  Some like it here, some don't.  Some post alot on here still, some don't.  Every one of us is entitled to say we like it here or we don't - it's called having an opinion.  Not everyone is going to agree, which is the nature of the beast.

Everyone's opinion is valid, who said it wasn't?  What I fail to understand, is if people don't like it here, why continue to come here only to post that you don't like it here?

I can understand people venting their frustration and missing what we had in the past but this forum is what we make of it. It stands or falls based on what we put in. I'm not the most prolific poster or the most popular ( no, stop it, I'm not) but I do feel I have an individual responsability to make the place work and be what we want it to.

I said in my earlier post that this place is ok to drop in and catch up with people who are still here.  It is not where I want to hang out all the time, but an occasional post here and there - why not?

There are people who are still criticising other people because they have a negative view on this place - an opinion which they are entitled to have.  Just because people have negative feelings about this place, doesn't mean they cannot post here.  It may be their only way of keeping in touch with people they want to keep in touch with.

I have had the occasional feeling.

Everyone is free to post or not, depending on their time and/or inclination.  I try to remain positive about the whole forum and the whole of Live Cloud instead of dwelling on the negativity.
