last time they came i whinged about  the lack of basically everything!!..and they put forward things they'd like to see put in place before their next visit....of course none of these have been done.....should be fun when they turn up!!

Oooh 'eck, well there's nothing you can do Spongey, if the school can't be arsed then why should you.

Our headmaster could feel it in his waters we were due an Ofsted inspection but they thought November. Then they called and they only give 48 hrs notice....well you have never seen the place in such a flurry! AND I had flu but was there for the 2 days they visited. So am glad it was a 1....must have been me and my dedication!

oh yeah q..i made sure i let the relevant ppl know..........that if someone gets ill due to lack of refrigeration etc it's not my fault....and the school can be fined up to 25 grand....so it's their choice...i don't give a toss!!!.......as you can imagine they took that well!

it must've been down to you matey your school got a 1...make sure the head knows this and gives you a payrise!!!...

anyways....i'm chuffin freezing so am off to curl up under me quilt.......

I met my husband online
Yay!  Another one!

Re: that news link -  the more stories like that I read, the more I think about the dedicated dating sites... the more I think its these sites that are the high risk ones...
I wonder if there are more of these incidents from online dating sites than from the old style newspaper lonely hearts ads...

An interesting question, and I have no idea.  It could be from anywhere, though.  That girl that was killed in Nottingham met the guy on FaceBook.

The site I met my husband on was an online dating site, and that was eleven years ago.  I met several men before I met my husband, and even though I didn't hit it off with them when we met real time, I always made sure to meet in a public place and then made sure they left before me and took a round about way home and checked to be sure I wasn't being followed.

The thing is though, she could have met him in a pub and the same thing could have happened.

Its horrible to be so distrsting of people, but I think same rules have to apply.Tell someone where you're going, maybe get them to ring you ten minutes after you're due to meet so you've got a get out of jail card if you're uneasy(or he's a complete minger).Don't invite them to your home and don't meet in a hotel.Keep it public until you're comfortable.
