Can i just thank the kind people at the Law Courts - courteous, knowledgable, reassuring . . . i could not fault them.
I loved every minute if i'm honest

It must be satisfying, seeing justice being done after all the trouble he's caused.

Yes it is but ... as visitors to the Law Courts don't qualify for free parking (eventhough hearings can last hours) i wasn't present to hear the guilty verdict (shame)

BUT great regardless - that guy has ruined her life for years

So her abusive ex called her at 7am this morning saying he was allowed to contacted her or come round.
He sed he wanted  - such and such - possessions back that she apparently still has

He just won't stop regardless . . . .

Persistent fekker isn't he?  Make sure she logs and records ALL of his 'intrusions' and contents of his conversations.  Sounds like a typical barmy basturd. Hope the Police have given her a panic phone, if he dares to come near her?  He should have been locked up IMHO!

She has the call recorded as she was asleep
He knows its her birthday today - so he's started early to spoil it
Cops are coming round to listen to it and take a statement - and Safer Families have been contacted

Well she stil has some of his possessions cos he stole her jewelry - it goes on and on
So ised she shud give him all his stuff once and for all BUT she has in the past but he will still contact her to say some stuff is mising as an excuse for harrassing her.

Good that at last the courts are aware of what he's about Renton but she still needs protection, cos he isn't giving up. I'm quite shocked he wasn't given a suspended sentence tbh. She can apply for an injunction which can be served within 48 hours. He shouldn't be allowed contact with her, and the courts/police should have had that as one of the conditions. Hopefully the police will enforce harassment conditions from their side but it would help if she can get an injunction too as it would hold a much stronger case if he breaks it.

As an afterthought the police can assist with collection of belongings.

Also, you say he has a previous - are these for violent offences? Or any offences against police?

Etc . .
Cops are fed up being go-betweens tbh

She should tell him she's binned his stuff,  and he can eff off for good!  

I can understand why they may feel that way but the difference is she's taken action now so they should be a bit more helpful. I was only asking if there is a violent history so the courts and police can truly ascertain just how dangerous he is.

yeah the cops are aware of his violent past  BUT he is clever - its more threat, intimidation - pushing - harrassment etc . . .
So he has very little actual violence in his history
i fear he will kill her one day

Mental abuse can be more scarring than physical. Hopefully this has been recognised by the police and they will take any further threats and presence seriously, especially as he has been convicted in court.
