I didn't see the show but saw her on This Morning.  What an incredibly brave and lovely woman.

I cried like a baby watching that show,that poor, poor darling. The part that made me bawl was when she was lying down and her mum and dad had to put cream on her poor face.She looked so small and her face looked so raw and sore. That show really made me incredibly sad and also left me in awe at Katies strength, SHe really is a gorgeous girl and I hope she finds love again.
 The b..tard that did that to her needs whipping or hanging.

How a human being can do that to another human being is beyond me.

If we all think about the number of house fires and those that are injured in them  - then it shows how badly we need specialist burns care and after-care.
Katie spent some time in France where she received after care not available on the NHS - and although Katie and her family acknowledge that the NHS performed outstandingly they wud like to see the care provided in France also avilable in the UK.
