I had my routine flu jab yesterday (not Swine Flu which I shall not have). Everyone I spoke to said it was different to normal this year. Normally you feel the injection, then you are told to wait a few minutes outside. This year didn't feel anything, they didn't even check my date of birth and address like they normally do, and I could go straight off afterwards. Odd isn't it?

Did they stick a needle in you, or do you think they were doing pretendy ones?
I have never had to wait and sometimes I have felt the injection other times I havent. I would not worry about it squiggle.
I did feel as if they did nothing, but I'm probably being paranoid, she said 'sharp scratch' and I didn't feel a thing, and everyone else said the same. Thought it was odd she didn't do the usual 'checking who you are' thing though.

Did she know you, Squiggle? That might account for why she didn't do the verification. When a new nurse comes into my dialysis unit, all of the patients are asked for name and DOB before receiving any meds. They usually don't bother at other times because the staff all know the patients.
I love it when you can feel it going in.
