Help, I have lost loads of channels on my Sky box, they are just a blue screen with there is no satellite signal caption on the screen, it was fine all day yesterday until we had very high winds.  Just wondering if anyone else in the West Bromwich area had experienced any problems with their Sky viewing and more importantly what can I do to get them back, I've got Sky news and certain other channels, including Sky 1 and my subscription is up to date until November 7th.

I don't really want to have to phone customer services unless I have to as they take such a long time answering and then half the time I can't understand them, could I check via the website or will I just have to hope they magically come back.

Please if anyone can help - help me!!

Thanks.

Yeah tried that, but it hasn't had any effect on it, it usually works as well.

I've lost BBC2, Sky 2, 3, Hallmark all the sports channels but still have things like Watch and Dave and Sky news, which makes me think there is a problem with Sky, not with the box as my hubby suggested.  Just gonna try unplugging everything again and see what happens.  Thanks both of you. xx

Maybe try taking the sky card out and turning off then back on, then putting card back in, or variations? sorry you're having trouble Pb

Its probably a 'weather' issue. Just turn it all off, take the card out, give it a clean (just with a cloth or something). It will come back eventually, in the meantime write some memoirs or reminisce about the 'good ol days' where creme eggs were bigger and white dog poo existed.
