Loved Take That, love Robbie on his own and love Take That without Robbie - would also love them to appear together aswell Gary Barlow has said quite a few times that he never realised what Robbie was capable of when he was with Take That and it was only when he was solo that it all came out - he has, to be fair, been very nice about Robbie and I for one, hope they have all made up!
hiya Scatts   I agree with you.  I watched a programme some time back, and well before Take That made their comeback.  It was a programme about failed boy bands and it showed some of the Take That boys at their lowest ebb, with no money.  I can't remember which one of them it was but they were at risk of losing their home.  It was after Mark appeared on CBB.  Gary Barlow was doing well because of his songwriting royalties but the others were all struggling financially.  This was at the time when Robbie was at the height of his popularity and they invited him to join them to try to mend bridges.  He didn't turn up.

I love Robbie Williams, he is a brilliant singer.  But I also admire Gary Barlow as a songwriter, and he also has a beautiful voice given the right song.  Like you, I would love them all to make up and forgive and forget, but professionally they should leave things as they are.  Maybe Gary could write a good song for Robbie because Robbie needs another hit.

Hiya Twee   Yes, I think I saw that programme aswell.  I agree with what you say aswell  However, I would like Robbie to get back with Guy Chambers - they were great together.

Scatts, I hope you and wee Caitlin are doing well xxx

Yes, Robbie hasn't had a decent hit since him and GC went their separate ways.  I bet Gary Barlow could write him a decent song though.  It would be nice if Robbie would get on stage with them occasionally, but not as a permanent fixture I don't think.

*wonders where the Sree thread is*   hahahaha.

I'm dreading Robbie getting back with TT - I have palpitations when TT tickets go on sale thinking I won't get any and then have palpitations wondering what seats I have and how close to stage I am and then I worry that someone massive will be infront of me...

Imagine me when my gorgeous Robbie in thrown in the mix and those tickets go on sale.........

I will have a melt down!

As a massive TT fan (with Robbie in early years) and massive solo Robbie fan and massive TT fan (the four of them) - I just don't think I'll cope...

And I'm 41!

Lets face it ........when Take That got together they were all kids with very little in common. robbie took off (or was booted out) because of his immature behaviour. Whatever ....... robbie did good on his own ............and I'm so pleased that the remaining boys got it all back together and came good again. It'd be nice to see them all perform together as Take that but ............robbie needs to shed his ego and smugness TBH .............if he can't do that - I'd rather he not be part of it. He struck lucky at the right time - that was all ..........then it went wrong. He's really nothing special.

You have to admit Robbie is a waste of space, just a loudmouthed feel sorry for me, no talent, never written a song so he has to nick one (Angels), can't write music twerp!. I hear he's gonna use the team that do Take that's shows for him now, once again nicking other peoples help, can't he just go hide under a big big rock, one prefereably under the Pacific Ocean!

aw pool, that was a bit harsh.  I don't think RW would have enjoyed the success he has had without a modicum of talent.  He may not be able to write a good song, but he can sing a good song.  He is a born performer.  He can't dance for toffee of course and his bodily rhythm section is awkward at times, but he can make a crowd (like at Knebworth) get onto their feet and dance like maniacs.  He also has a certain sweetness in his voice that I love.

Of course, we cannot all like the same performers.  For instance, I don't very much like Kylie Minogue or Leona Lewis performing, but I have to admit that they have talent and charisma.  They are both very successful, as is Robbie.  So it is a case of each to his own .. songwriting is the forte of songwriters and singing is the forte of someone like Robbie.   I happen to think that Robbie puts on an act and that underneath he is insecure and lonely.

Funnily enough Cinds, when I first saw that vid, I hated it.  I couldn't understand what the hell he was doing dressed up like that   But then in his gigs he started using it as his opening song and now I flippin love it.

When he did the Pheonix Park (Knebworth would have been the UK equivalent) the music started and I was looking at the stage but couldn't find him.  I was looking....looking...and then I saw him hanging upside down from the top of the stage   I got a shiver down me spine and screamed like a loon

I've been to all his gigs, I even went to his first one on me own because none of me mates were Robbie fans so I was well used to seeing him.  But that just got me
