I didn't really 'follow' her on the X Factor, and, have NEVER before bought an album of an X Factor contestant, however, I was more than pleasantly surprised at Alexandras album...it really is good, she can hit the high notes and the low notes, I think Cheryl sounds awful trying to hit the low notes.

I do like Cheryl BTW, just not her singing, though her song is catchy, but I don't think it's right for her....go Alexandra

I quite like both...though the Lexi Burke song really reminds me of Spagna.

Absolutely no competition, Cheryl can't stand up and sing without having recorded it beforehand, terrible voice without all the dooby dobs added.  Alex is brilliant, a powerful voice and fab tune

Now I like lovely Cheryl ... & I even find 'Fight For This Love' quite catchy .... but imo there is just no comparison between the two.

Cheryl gets right on my norks (even more so after her spitting her dummy out  on Saturday when Simon had a go at her song choice for that bloke), but I think she can sing and that routine was bloody fantastic.

I dislike both, however, I believe Alex can sing in a far superior way however, I do find CC's song 'catchy'. I loathe to say this btw.

Poor the Cheryl... not only does she have to deal with those humiliatingly bad shampoo ads every day but now you lot have turned against her. At least she has her not at all gay husband for comfort.

Not really my scene but TBF that Alex one knocks spots off the other one. Though the question itself shows the bad state of the "music" industry.

She will for sure, but it doesn't make her a better singer, Alex sold stacks of singles last week, Cheryl is doing it this week, and will probably hold on to the top spot again next week, It's scary the hold X factor now has on the charts. It will be interesting to see what Westlife gain chart wise after being on it this weekend.  Alex can take some comfort from the fact she will have the Number one album come this Sunday.

Neither, they're both talentless and their music is generic crap. Although at least Cheryl doesn't look like a man in drag.

Having heard the current Beyonce single continuously every hour on Radio 2, I think we can safely say that both subjects have overtaken her.

Alexandra Burke anyday anyone over the overhyped and overrated Cheryl Cole, Bad Boys has a beat to it and features FloRida so no comparision.

Neither of them make the sort of music I like but  I vote Alex...by a country mile.

I don't like either of their latest singles, though Alexandra can at least sing.  I'm sure they'll both go down well in the gay clubs.

I wouldn't buy either album but I prefer Alexandra's voice and her current song.

Cheryl did a good performance on X Factor though.

They are both naff. Wouldn't pay a penny, or do a free download for either of them!
