Soozy, I did like the colour of the bedroom too - thats it though

Jenny, the air pockets would drive me mad too! Its not till you see the close up that you can see all the sloppy work - air bubbles in the wallpaper, paint slopped over the woodwork/light switches/skirting boards I mean, I know its to be expected when they only have an hour... but gah!

I'm glad Terri Dwyer has gone but...

They NEVER paint the skirting boards or architrave, it's all fine and well spending a fortune on bloody Farrow and Ball paint but if the skirting boards are manky it's pointless.

They are seriously the worst wallpaperers ever...and yes I have the cheek to say that with my shrunken kitchen wallpaper ...but bubbles everywhere!

They give women glass topped dressing tables with nowhere to put any make up, hair brushes etc...eh?  Wassa point of that?

No storage.

They go way overboard with the patterns, gaudy wallpaper, striped curtains, floral cushions...they are always way too busy.

That'll do for now...whinge wise...

I think they deliberately choose colours and patterns that will be controversial.

I watched an episode recently where the designer - big gobby woman - had chosen a hideous shade of red and every time Claire Sweeney asked the couple if they liked the colour, she replied "Yer jokin'" - she said this several times.

Even the designer couldn't hide her surprise that they actually liked it.
