I dont think he's that unlikeable TBH ..............I really dont see why the Judges have to bring it up - it's wrong to try and damage someones confidence like that. As for Dannis remark - it was totally uneccesary and completely out of order IMO

Well, I disagree about the 'likeable' thing as you know, but I do agree that it was a bit much the way they laid into him.  I was a bit shocked (leaving aside Dannii's remark - which just baffled me)

I have to admit, I didn't like Danyl at all to start with, as I thought his performances were just too OTT and cocky.  Back then, though, the judges thought he was wonderful.  Now last night I really enjoyed Danyl's performance.  He seemed more controlled and I admired his soulful voice - loved it in fact.  But what do you know - the judges turn on him for being too cocky.  This was probably his least cocky performance to date.  Not only that, but they've consistently criticised contestants for not having enough self belief.  Build them up to knock them down appears to be the name of the game.

As for Danii's comment, that was just beyond belief.  I was almost embarrassed for her.  I hope she realises that the only person who appeared foolish there was herself.

I tend to agree with Brisket - I've never believed all the 'fights' between the judges are anything other than scripted.    I posted further up - I think they're starting to use the stories in the papers to their advantage, I'm also sceptical that all these 'tweets' are actually being sent by the contestants themselves.

I don't trust the programme either!..... but it doesn't change the fact that it was out of order. Tbh this is why watching reality TV leaves a nasty taste sometimes, it plays with peoples lives. Yes. they've put themselves in the firing line but that still doesn't make it morally right.

Ooh ...... too serious for a Sunday and for the context of what happened , I'm off to get pished in the bar....

The cynical side of me wonders if because SCD had all the headlines last week with Antongate, are they trying for a Danniigate this week. Theres a twitter post on the right hand side of this page saying that Danyl doesn't have a problem with Dannii.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm now that you say it, I wouldnt put it past them, they want their fair share of controversy but this time its at the expense of a contestant. Danni was really silly to bring that up.
