Theres been a commotion on the street tonight, at the house opposite me *which is a friends house* but she's away on a cruise, anyway, theres been a girl outside *said*  house screaming like a banshee for the last hour, police came sirens blaring, left and the girl is back again

i've just gone out and told her to shut the f-ck up cause she has woke my daughter up, now i'm wondering if i should have just kept quiet

I'm feeling a bit sad tonight too. Been to the pub for dinner with my OH, daughter and her partner. There was a drunken woman there who we have vaguely known for 20 years (since we've lived here) ..........she lives on her own and I feel she's lonely (she's a lesbian - not sure if she's ever had a live in partner). she latched onto us taking over the conversation etc. and the landlord came and told her to quiet down.

We went to sit down for our dinner and she came over and asked if she could join us (we could hardly say no).......she was bad mouthing the (new) landlord and calling him homophobic etc.

Eventually he came over and chucked her out ..........................we didn't stand up for her and I feel a bit bad but ........she was making us uncomfortable and TBH spoiling our evening as we simply couldn't talk together.

I just feel a bit sad as she's obviously a very lonely person. What would you lot have done?

Yeah call the police again Aimee like Real said. The ex may be too embarrassed to do it himself but the more reports they get the easier it will be for him (or his family) to get an injunction banning her from outside his (and yours) house.

Oh and if anyone in your street has a rabbit then bring it indoors - she may be going all fatal attraction

awww soozy, id have been like you, feel bad about it,and have found it really difficult to say no to her joining you, but it was your night out with your family probably something you dont do on a regular basis, what a shame that had to happen.

Yeah ..................both me and my daughter are feeling awwwwwwwwwwwwwww - poor woman. My husband and daughters partner are more like ..........look she'll not even remember it in the morning.

It just makes me sad when people have no one .........I'm blessed with a lovely family - not everyone is so lucky. I hate to think of people alone and sad.

Maybe it's just the way I'm made but I'd go out there and tell her to shut the f up cos there's kids sleeping and if she wants to smash someone's head in could she do it quietly.
Soozy why should you have stuck up for that woman? She imposed herself on your family meal with no invitation, it's her own doing she made a tit of herself. You could maybe pop round kin a couple of days to see if she's ok if it's on your mind but you have nothing to apologise for.

Gawd I sound like a right bitter old mare
