I think he should have just left the story with the "Hero's and Villain's" trilogy as the ending was just what fans wanted.  The trilogy done earlier this decade just wasn't as funny somehow.

Can't see this working - though I hope it does, as my hubby is a huge fan of OFAH and he will be watching this prequel, which I think will be shown on Christmas night.

Funniest thing ever for me in OFAH was the Batman and Robin sequence, I don't find the falling through the bar one that funny, the Batman and Robin sequence was almost perfect, the build up, the music and the face of the Councillor as she sees them - perfect!

This has reminded me of the first holiday me and OH took together in Gran Canaria in the mid 90s.
We usually avoid "British" pubs, but there was this one called The Sunburnt Arms, and the name tickled us so we popped in.
It was a brilliantly sunny day outside, but the patrons were sitting in there with the window shades down, drinking overpriced Brit beer and a watching Only Fools and Horses videos. Sadder than sad!

Thanks for that PinkBabe....had forgotten how funny it was!
No problem DID, it always makes me laugh that sequence, more than when DelBoy falls through the bar, the one people always say is the funniest, I was making sure it was the right one on u tube and was laughing just watching it.

My all time favourite OFAH (and I am not a great fan) is the "Jolly boys outing", that is so funny when the coach blows up, and Trigger can't decide where he is going outside the railway station.

We have a friend who looks just like him and acts like him as well!!

There are so many scenes from OFAH, too many that have made me LOL! I did like the one where he fell through the bar, I also liked the chandilier (sp) one as well...
