Does anyone know if an fm has to be in your buddie list before you can pm them? I have just tried to dialogue with Profile but the only names it will bring up for me to invite to the dialogue are those that are my buddies.

Veggie go to create dialogue, click network users at the top, then in filter type who you want to add - if it's profile his name should come up if you type it....click the name then off you go...

Thanks Lacey. I tried that but when I clicked on network users all I got was a blank white screen. I went to his profile as well because I thought it might be like the old place and there would be a link to just pm him that way but nothing doing.
I will try again tomorrow, maybe there is something a bit gremliny about my dialogue settings or summat

Click on his av Veggie, that should take you to his blog/wall, and see if you can leave a message there for him.  Maybe..... I'm still sussing stuff out!

Yeah I tried that Tiddles but had no luck - I should spend more time here just pottering around and then I'd probably know whats what. I've left a message here for him in the thread and I can get him in other places so no worries

Veggie, http://profile.hoo.do/ this'll take you to Profile's profile. The PM function is called DIALOG and the link should be near top right.
Alternatively click on his little gingerbreadman (doesn't matter whether he is on or off line) a box will open and one of the options there will be 'start a dialog with him'
