I downloaded Google Chrome just for this forum, I just can't be bothered fighting on with IE and all the irritations I have with the site and the IE browser. It was getting on my t*ts, so to save me more frustration I run Google and IE

sometimes its fine soozy and right now no avatars showing

I have Google Chrome but tend to use IE ..........does Googlr Chrome allow all the avatars?

I'm really and truly pants at techie stuff ...................I haven't a clue - any advice welcome. I just knoe Google Chrome wasn't great for other things so I tend to use IE.

I can see all the avatars with Google chrome, I can't with IE.

Just use G.Chrome for this forum ...it really solved 99% of the problems I was having when I was using IE.

I like it so much more than IE that I now use it all the time.

Just noticed the spelling mistake in the title. Does it make me seem vaguely exotic or Eastern European or something? or just someone who has poor keyboard skills after a few too many glasses?

I have Chrome and see all the atavars and find it easier to use to go between sites, as a failry novice user, it's certainly better for me.

When will I see you again?

Google Chrome runs faster than Internet Explorer..it remembers your favourite pages, it has an automatic spell checker ...in fact, it's bliddy brill

Google "Firefox" and download their browser. Never had a single prob with it unlike IE..

I agree.   I did use FF then for some reason (gawd knows why) I went back to IE.  Then cos IE is crap and vunerable (vunerable was the actual word used)... I got a malware infection on my pooter.... it was horrendous bloody infection.  Yes, I had virus software, no I hadn't opened any attachments (that would require me actually visiting my email now and again, and I don't)... or downloaded anything, or been to any smut or smiley sites (apart from my regular smiley site)... I got it just cos it wanted to (apparently).

Anyway... long stressed out story short....   I got rid of infection (eventually... got lucky)... and now I use Chrome... cos its alot safer, and I find it quicker, more helpful and less intrusive than Firefox (all the extras got on my nerves).

Oh... and I have SpyBot as well (which I didn't before)

Chrome is brilliant Soozy.  It's very simple and you don't get lots of toolbars at the top of the page.  It's all hidden in the little spanner at the side.
I love it.  Glad it worked for you.
I find IE very slow.
