Some years ago a woman said something about my late brain damaged brother which really upset me so every time I saw her I didn't make eye contact with her but remained civil with her. She squirmed a lot but she never said sorry and I didn't broach the subject with her - I wasted no energy on her as she wasn't worth the effort.
