Two housemates just received their very special individual prize from Big Brother. Halfwit and Dogface went in to the Diary Room... and Freddie and Sophie came out.
Big Brother offered the pair the chance to change their names back by deed poll. After signing the forms they returned to the House and re-introduced themselves to everyone. "I'm Freddie!" said the housemate-formerly-known-as Halfwit cheerfully.
"My name's Charlie," said Charlie courteously, shaking Freddie's hand. "Pleasure to meet you. Nice to meet you darling," he added to Sophie.
But Sophie wasn't feeling too cheerful. "It's a **** prize," she said bluntly. "Everybody else got something good. Everybody calls me Sophie anyway! There's no difference!"
"The public will know you as Dogface and Halfwit," Siavash pointed out. Bet that's just what she wanted to hear.
Meanwhile in the Garden, Bea was passing on her own theory about why the name change had happened.
"We were saying last night about who we think is most likely to go tonight," she said to David in a low voice. "I think they've probably changed Freddie's name back to Freddie for him to go."
"Really?!" said David, looking shocked.
Actually Bea, for the purposes of tonight's eviction, Freddie will be known as The-Housemate-Formerly-Known-As-Halfwit, and if he survives, will only then be know as Freddie. So, will he get his name back in or out of the House? That's for you to decide...
