Special gifts for David, Bea, Freddie and Sophie...

Yesterday Big Brother announced that the housemates would be getting special individual prizes. Marcus got fanmail, Lisa got tobacco, Siavash got clothes and Charlie got a very intimate half-hour in the Diary Room listening to Girls Aloud. Today it's the turn of the rest of the housemates.

Bea will be given a coffee machine. We can't wait to see her in action with all that extra caffeine in her system.

Dogface and Halfwit will be given the opportunity to change their names back to Sophie and Freddie. They'll always be Dogface and Halfwit to us.

And loveliest of all, David will be given a delicious roast dinner cooked by his nan and auntie. Share it round mate - we're starving!

It's just like Christmas. Only August...

Sophie would have probably preferred a visit from a professional hairdresser but yes about time they dropped the stupid names.

I would have liked the names to have been kept to the end, but I suppose this was predictable. Even more predictably none of the gifts have been brilliant or special.

Those in the house? Quite a few of those who didn't like him sometimes called him Freddie anyway. It was interesting in which situations some HMs used the term Freddie or Halfwit, that was part of the interest of the interactions in the house. The name changes DID contribute to the show and what was happening in the house.

It did but its been 10 weeks some HMs pointedly call him halfwit I would have had a few choice words to say about the double standards since none of them call Sophie dogface.

BB was expecting them to get upset about it like Noirin did with her glasses but credit to Sophie and Freddie they have taken it well. BB really has come accross the most childish in this.

It was really most embarrasing for them when the line "Halfwit, BB always treats HMs with respect" was trotted out to Freddie for swearing at them. Idiots.
