I have just caught up on the H/L's from last night. I heard all the talk on the forum about Freddie being so smug after the nominations were announced "oh yes Marcus is going to go". And then of course it was made much of afterwards by Lisa & Co. at the bus stop.

So that was it was it? They announced the nominations and Freddie repeated Marcus and said oh yes Marcus is going to go in a quiet voice and that was him being really smug was it?

Yes. That was it. Obviously said in a not-too-serious way. A light-hearted comment.
But people do clutch at straws when things get desperate.

Charlie picked up on it and make a big deal out of it.

BB edited the show, twice showing Freddie making that remark, that did Freddie no favours.

Freddie saying it did him no favours even if he was repeating it.

That night, with Bea being a total beatch to him won him more fans. The remark(s) lost him even more. And if they show him laughing at nasty Bea in HLs when she was crying... Sad to say it, but I feel he will be leaving tomorrow.

He said it more than once, then he was in the garden with Siavash and said if he was up against some of the other hms he would probably stay anyway; Then he started saying how there was plenty of scheming to be done and how that was best left to the end... yet he said the other day he didnt scheme; He observed?!

Yes he did mention scheming in the garden.
But they had been told by BB that they could discuss such things.
They`ve always done it since BB1 years ago.
It`s part of the backbone of BB.
This was said in a very open and light-hearted way - a sort of `how to compete with the opposition` sort of way.
Nothing wrong with that.
It was all done in a light tone.
Not an issue at all as far as I`m concerned.
(Anyway, they nearly all do it.)

It wasn't smug and it wasn't light hearted, IMO.

It was an honest opinion, but highlighted Freddie's total lack of awareness of how human emotions work.

Most people would think it, but know better than to say it!

I agree, but what Charlie doesn't seem to reaise is, we, the public (some) hate him for blowing things out of proportion. He makes a complete twat of himself and I'd sooner see Sophie or Rodrigo and *can't belive I'm saying this* even Lisa win it if it meant that he doesn't.

He has a very nasty streak in him that he tries to hide very well. Unlike Bea who is just pathetic. Coming in as a new HM, she could have played a total different game that would have kept her in.

Not long to go now squiggle and it will all be over one way or another. If he goes tomorrow, he goes with his head held high. I want to see him in the final though, so we can only keep everything crossed.

I'm not knocking Freddie but he did keep going on about it.
Among his comments about it in the DR was that he'd still have Siavash next week anyway to mess about with.
