His humour isn't wasted on some of the audience. I guess you must have really hated some HMs on earlier series like Victor. Without humour (and I don't mean contrived Charlie pranks) Big Brother would be so dull. Lively witty conversation is an essential ingredient to the show imo.

I know he can be crude sometimes, but I've never seen that as a very substantial thing. It's a bit like his looks, I don't really care if he's not considered as pretty as the others. I think some judge him on superficialities. All of the HMs are crude sometimes, it's the age and society we live in. Other HMs seem to be allowed to get away with the same thing at times just because they are considered more cute.

I don't remember seeing the laughter smileys there. Anyway I'm just talking in general and not just about you. I only bring up looks because other people do and because everyone knows that's how alot of people DO view the show. It's inescapable when looking at how most of the audience respond.
You can't believe what he says? Isn't comedy supposed to be unbelievable in some ways, that is the humour of it surely?
Another point I would make is that some of his remarks are actually quotes from films or the like, again showing they derive from our society and not just him.
I don't find his humour funny at all. His sulk after seeing his picture should of been a wake up call for him. Yes Marcus you do look like that and yes are a miserable sod.

I don't find the crude humour nice at all whether they are film quotes or not as free thinking has pointed out, but some of the things he says I do find funny and he is whether we like him or not, he has been a good HM

Marcus is not to be taken seriously alot of the time. He can be pretty vile and vulgar at times, but in between that he does talk alot of sense.
he was certainly making a lot of sense on LF that I am watching now

No he doesn't normally look like that. It was just the usual profile picture to create an image in viewer's minds. It was to make people think his fundamental state is aggressive, just like Freddie's was to make him seem like a halfwit, or Siavash's to make him seem like some eccentric mysterious HM. Profile pictures as used as a fundamental means of establishing an audience's response to a HM.

I don't mind a bit of naughty talk, but at times he took it too far. I would probably have laughed at him because he does say stuff for effect. Yes, he has been a great addition to the house and it is sad that these two are up. I still want Freddy to stay though, but will be sorry to see Marcus go if that is what happens.

That is true, but comedy also depends a lot on the history of the comedian.
Take, as purely an example, a bad taste joke about immigration.
If Bernard Manning told the joke, I would be rolling my eyeballs, as he has a history of racist quips against specific groups behind him
If Frankie Boyle told the same joke i would probably be pissing myself laughing
