Maybe the viewers want to get Freddie out to save his tortured soul
If Marcus gets kept in his reaction would be priceless .

That Freddie's odds are shortening and that Marcus's odds are lengthening.
Yeh, I don't understand betting terms either. But really even if it says it's close in the betting that's just because some people have had a hunch and put quite alot of money up to change things around a bit with some of the bookmakers. It's their hunch and that's all. Alot more people than them vote and decide who actually goes.
My hunch is that Freddie will still get a large sympathy vote because of Bea. And Endemol showing Marcus saying he wants to leave (definitely in part to rationalise the fact that he knows he is the underdog and isn't likely to stay anyway) will probably make things more certain.
I still find Marcus funnier though with his comments than Freddie and so more worth keeping. Freddie's idiosyncrasies aren't completely essential to the show for me.

I am none the wiser
As you know, I want Freddy to stay, but I don't want Marcus to go. Such a poo eviction this week.
