Well I'd say that was right. Are they not called Perseids because they are in the constellation of Perseus, which is North Eastish. Big Grin

Oooh I've no idea! (I can't even tell the difference between them and stars, as I've just demonstrated) sounds plausible though Nod

If I have to look NE though, it means going into the front street ...and not just the garden (which is more convenient as I'm in my dressing gown Laugh )

Same here on the Wirral.

The only strange thing I saw was an odd looking 'leaf' on a rock; just as I bent over to inspect it closer, the bloody thing jumped towards me . . . . sodding frog!! Nearly had a heart attack!
