I agree, i think he is still smarting after Bea,s onslaught, but he is very arrogant and so confident he is staying its almost sickly

Several times over the past couple of weeks Freddie has commented about facing eviction but the public have saved him.

Tonights remark was because he believes he will be saved, yet again.

People who don't like Freddie have to make up their minds whether they don't like him because he's a whimp or because he's putting on an act. Which is it?

Looking back on things I suppose earlier in the series he may have had some of this attitude as well. Sometimes it's better just to say nothing rather than try and rub things in too much with people. Maybe you can keep above the radar without being a bit too overconfident too often. It's nice seeing someone rile up others who you don't like so much but too much of that and it maybe even annoys his friends in the house or potential supporters outside.

Oh cologne.. I was one of the few voices when everyone had a pop at him when he had his spat with Dave and Lisa. While his theatrics and the slightly disturbing glee with which he had a go and then followed them into another room to continue it made me think he could have gone a little too far.. I kinda understood that it was a moment where the worm turned.

But lately he has become almost unrecognisable.. he's no longer the slightly daffy Freddie who was humble, considerate, considered.. he's got an absolutely awful attitude and while before it could have been put down to some new found confidence now it's looking like misguided arrogance.

I think in this situation zipping it might have been a better option, especially in view of events in last night's HLs. At the end, when Freddie was going on to predict his course through the next round of evictions both Marcus and Siavash were trying to close him down as they could obviously see the potential damage he was doing himself.

BB have changed the game completely! Being able to talk and therefore plot strategies regarding nominations is part of the game now unfortunately. Freddies "scheming" comment was a reaction to this.

I like Freddie but he said it again in the kitchen talking to Sophie and Rodrigo. Sorry brisket, but it does sound like cockiness to me.

I have to say brisket,charlies face was a picture when fred called him up on nominating him,his face went red he was mumbling and trying to say the same line as he did to rod,its because of the argument,what he was wrong in the arguments just as much as they were.

But fred took him at his word,he is gutless the most desperate to stay in house,i hope fred finishes before him,and rod took him as his mate,through all the rows and how did he pay him.

I agree with you brisket. There is a desperation creeping into Charlie atm. He even mentioned last night how winning the money would be used to improve his mother's condition and in the next breath he said he was going to cycle round the world for charity. Oh dear, he should think before he speaks. These two statements do not correlate. How can he care about his mother so much and then go away for another stretch of time (he has been in the BB house now for nearly 3 months) to do something for charity.

At least Freddie is not resorting to such despicable tactics, it must be said.

I still like Freddie, but this is yet another example of his complete lack of awareness of human emotions.
