Just taken the kids to top of the only hill in Cambridgeshire to see the meteor showers, was absolutely amazing.

Raining here PJ. Can't see anything.
Very cloudy here - nothing to be seen.
Ooooooh yay ta for the reminder!
Last year I had one of the BEST nights of my life with my lad (he has some difficulties) and I woke him in the middle of the night and we sat out the back wrapped in blankets and watched the sky. Oooh blimey it was so bluddy special. HaaaHaHaHA I cant tell you how fuzzy I feel just remembering it!

We live in the country Mo, and the part that we went to is really rural, we were all laying in the road, me OH and 4 kids, really special. We have been back about 20 mins and my 15 year daughter is still in the garden watching, we can hear her ooohing and arrrhing.
Sounds brilliant! Its too cloudy here tonight which is a shame....but seriously just the memory of last year will do me if we dont get a clear night.quote:Originally posted by pussycatj:quote:Originally posted by MoFo:

I'm so chuffed to be reminded of it, thank you.
I did the same with my lot. I live in a housing estate with a very small garden and we would run from the front of the house to the back.
Think it's 4 yrs since I had a good view of it.

We're off up the orchards tonight... am crossing my fingers for a clear sky.
Exciting!
Exciting!
Pissed down here since 8pm last night Seen naff-all I believe the show is still on tonight (in fact tonight is mean to be the 'peak' night,) and also they should still be on view tomorrow, and I have heard that the cloud may clear later.
I'd love to have seen that! I'd love to see
the Northern Lights too.
the Northern Lights too.
I didn't know anything about it
I probably could have seen it too, as I was driving up the M1 from Milton Keynes late last night.
