It seems my understanding of why Sophie hasn't been individually punished seems to get lost in the many 'BB are ASSHOLES threads' so I would just like to give my 2 pence worth to see if anyone can agree.

Whilst its true that Sophie broke the fundamental rule of nominations she broke it amidst the tirade of rule breaking from Tosspot, Tosswit and Tossvash.

BB being completely fed up with this constant rule breaking decided 'Hmmm they think we are going to put the whole house up now, well they AND the viewing public know we can change the rules at any time'.

So rather given Sophie what she wants they took away all their food - a punishment enough to piss anyone off. BB then told them that: 'Housemates MAY discuss nominations this week' the key word being 'MAY'. Obviously discussing noms is against the rules and anyone who did discuss noms following BB's announcement would mean their actual nominations would be void.

The only housemate NOT to discuss nominations was Rodney, so his nominations were the only ones that count. And thankfully (for me anyway) he nominated Marcus and Freddie - which means we won't have a boring predictable final like we always do.

BRING ON THE EVICTION!!! I just don't know who I want out more Big Grin

I was saying yeterday, how BB said they "might" say who they were nominating, not "CAN" say it. Cant believe none of them have picked up on it. Or perhaps some have and want all to be up?

It may have to be a double eviction because Halfwit is so far up Marcus's arse they would need surgery to remove him.

that was one of the options I too suggested may happen yesterday...

BB have done that before Ninja
Mount Olympus *Olly*
When BB announced the suspension of the rule regarding the discussion of nominations they did so citing Sophies lapse as being the last straw.

I completely agree with the Tosspot, Tosswit and Tossvash sentiment but the food was down to them and them alone.

My only grievance is that BB are not consistent. By choosing not to punish Sophie individually, she has not been punished at all.

When Siavash and Marcus were punished last week for simliar offences they were at least included in the punishment.

Just to be clear..... I don't like any of them. This is not a personal attack on Sophie.

LOTS broke nominations rules - Bea, Halfsit, Lisa, Saivash AND sophie

They were ALL punished when BB said they could talk about nominations, a sort of "learn the hard way" type punishment

I have no objection to them being punished... but what sort of punishment was it really? They all WANTED to talk nominations.

With the exception of Rodrigo of course Laugh

Its only because those 2 are up for eviction if Tossvash was up too I would be torn on who to go. But I think I'm leaning more towards Tosswit to go. Will make things more interesting.

BB says "over the past few days a NUMBER OF HOUSEMATES have continued to [talk about nominations] as a RESULT housemates can talk nominations"

but the boys had already been punished for their infringements. The term, 'a number of housemates' implies that there were more than one which isn't the case because at this time only Dogface had mentioned wanting to be put up for noms against Marcoos and so has escaped punishment Nod
