I don't believe it. I can't access my I Tunes which held all of my cds and all of the games etc for my sons I touch. When I first got my i pod a few years ago I linked it to my mums username on her PC as that was my only option. Problem is, a little while ago her username wouldn't allow access and was obviouly corrupted so I set up another sign in name for windows and away we went. I'm now unsure how to access my i tunes with years worth of podcasts and hundreds of cd's on it. Does anyone know how I can get all this stuff back please?

I am not an expert on this but even though Itunes may not be able to "see" the stuff on your Ipod the music/podcasts etc will still be on your hard drive somewhere.

Oh I really hope so, I'm going through this computer like a crazy woman trying to find it! I had a few years worth of podcasts on there that I really don't want to lose
Relax - your music files will almost certainly be there if nothing has been deleted.
What windows are you on ?
Can you see your Mum's login - is it still active ?
Do you know if your files/documents are set to be shared by all users ?
