Don't worry Darlo, he doesn't give a flying fig. He will have the last laugh, he is doing his GCSEs next year (he will be 13) and then they are putting him in for the Oxbridge exams. I think he will do OK, just as you are

my son hated school, he was being bullied and he keeps asking me why he is so stupid
he isn't stupid at all...he is at that age where he sees he is different to most kids at school (though there was a few kids on spectrum there)..and he thinks different = stupid.everyone is unique, it's when you get people behaving the exact same that we should all start worrying
but that is what it is like at school. you have like gangs, and the kids in each gang tend to be eachother's clones.that's how i saw it when i was at school anyways

hoping he'll be like that one day. i talk to him openly about it and we read books about it together. he's gained confidence since. plus ofc his new school should help. gunna take a bit of time to block out what the few bully kids told him...esp as one lives across the road and comes over to our green just to pick on him ...he doesn't go outside anymore thanks to that little brat
