How high are yours?
It has stopped raining and I've just had a quick walk down the bottom of the garden.
My first attempt and I only have two good survivors out of eight. One is nearing 8' and one is about 5'6"

I don't have sunflowers, but my tomatoes are coming on a treat after I thought I'd killed them off.

I've got a spider living on one of my tomato plants. Didn't see the web and my hand went right into it with the same reaction as yours.

Indeed! The rain and wind did for all the others. These two survived because I tied 'em to the side of the cycle shed.

I planted about six out of the hamsters food,this was pretty late on though,just last month.They are about three and half feet at the moment.

They are easy to grow with or without sun.

I haven't grown any giant ones this year. (I get fed up staking them!)

I've gone for the multi headed ones (reds and yellows)... and a couple of dwarf ones!

I'm growing runner beans, but they're only just at the flowering stage - normally I'm picking them by now.

Well up here June was lovely,but July and August so far have been a washout.Runner beans need good sunshine.
