Im not, but I am thick when it comes to anything like this, as Videostar will confirm; He/She talked me through how to do my avatar, and I still failed miserably! My son came in from work and did it for me in way less than 5 minutes! You know like if you have a picture of a glass and other stuff going on in the backfround. Say I wanted the glass in colour but everything else in black and white, that sort of thing.
Its ok I worked out how to do it, with eraser tool and layers.
Paintnet still won't download without errors is there anywhere else I can use?....

I think I know what your problem might be though.
Download the microsoft framework from here (you need that for .net programmes.

Called .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 just click on it .
