When she tackled Marcus about the cigarettes. She never raised her voice, she never swore, she never went rushing to get back up and she wouldn't back down.

I caught some of that on LF, she did seem to have the upper hand and Marcus was very flustered and defensive.
What I haven't understood yet is how come Sophie is involved in all this in the first place ......did she see Marcus snaffling the cigarettes and hiding them.

Marcus sent her to get cider and she found the cigs.quote:Originally posted by evviva!:

aaah-HA! Thanks, longcat
And then she blabbed? That little girl surely does love a good old goss!
I thought she was impressive too, but noted that (as Bea astutely observed,)Marcus is skilled at making people feel bad for criticising him and certainly did this to Sophie, who knows that she has been two faced about Marcus and already felt guilty about this!
I really like Sophie. She makes me laugh a lot too

Well done Sophie
I actually understood what she said yesterday and she finally managed to string a sentence together and said what she thought so good on her .

Good for her. I am liking her more and more
She did have the upper hand then Marcus ended up making her feel bad and she ended up feeling guilty this is what he does best.
Forgot to mention look what happened when he said David was stealing the food pot kettle comes to mind.
I like Sophie, she reminds me of a friend of mine, a bit dizzy, but I think under all the glamour girl trimmings, and love of gossiping (and lets face it - who doesn't gossip?), she is basically a nice young woman.
I still remember Sophie stealing Sophias drink at the start and leaving Charlie to take the blame .

Exactly Marge. It's one rule for Marcus and a different one for everyone else.
Sophie was brilliant last night.

If Charlie had done that though then Sophie wouldn't get upset though as it's her friend, but it was Marcus who she can't stand. If it was Charlie it would probably be laughed at by the likes of Sophie and Lisa.
Imagine if Sophie had taken the cigs for Lisa. What do you think Marcus, Bea and Freddie would have said?quote:Originally posted by darloboy07:quote:Originally posted by Tayto:quote:Originally posted by Marguerita:

They would have voiced their opinions and disapproval .
