All of us who know you, know you're a very good parent, with a lovely caring lil daughter

We all learn lessons in life. Tis good to learn by your mistakes, however genuine the intent was, because you tend not to forget.
It just goes to shows how caring your lil one is, which is all down to your good parenting

I wouldn't say anything to her now coz chances are you'll never see it again. If she comes round again asking though I'd say "sorry I'm skint...I was just about to come and ask you for that tenner back actually so I can pay my phone bill". I bet she never bothers you again

I would ask once for it back. To give her a chance to do so.

Apart from that I'd never lend her anything again.

Your daughter was showing a very caring side Aimee.

Pity the neighbour wasn't so caring.

My MIL always says never a lender or a borrower be. Don't know if I could go to those lengths, but she has a point!

bless your daughters heart for being so unselfish but I think it's one of lifes lessons that needs to be learned - never a borrower nor a lender be

good old Shakey knew what he was talking about.

We've all been there at sometime or another and it certainly doesn't make you a bad mother

Aimee and your daughter...you are both too kind-hearted, but sometimes you just have to say 'no'. Next time point her in the direction of Social Services and never lend anything to her again
