I just said on another thread that the Charlie/Rodrigo relationship might be the main theme right through until the finale now. Is there any sign of a bigger story emerging at this stage?

Of course, this story has the potential to erupt into violence at any time and destroy the chances of both protagonists, rather than cement either as BB10's winner.

It is a relationship of convenience for Rodrigo - i'm sure he said on LF that Charlie would not be his type away from the house.

They both really fancy each other, it's plain to see. Outside they'd have been bonking each others brains out , fallen in love and then split up by now

Much of their arguments are probably sexual frustration...I think it's genuine and I think Rodrigo might have even fallen in love with him and gets pissed off cos Charlie is more blase about him.

When you are all in a small house together it is best to get on Rodrigo has said he likes Charlie he is funny etc but also said Charlie is nasty when he has been drinking,I dont think he sees Charlie as part of winning I think he genuinely likes him ,it is just a shame he does not realise Charlie is not his true friend as he has lied about Rodrigo(going into the diaryroom protest)Charlie deliberately winds Rodrigo up,they all want to win that is what the show is all about ,Rodrigo will tell any of them to their face what he thinks without back up he will say what the others are thinking,if he was trying to fly under the radar like has been said in other threads I dont think he would be arguing or saying what he feels he would keep stoom,he does not biatch sit and join in with the biaching like him or not he is open and honest more than can be said for any of the others ,I just wish he would keep away from Charlie as Charlie is a backstabber.

No, I don't think they like each other at all. A little physical attraction can't make up for actually detesting someone. But you are thinking what they want you to and what Endemol want you to. This is meant to be their unique story, the gay relationship on BB. It is just for the game though and no more than that. Surely most people are bored with this by now though?

I think Rodrigo, sadly, has shown misjudgment in his relationship Charlie.
I think the making shapes under the duvet business is pure sham and fakery to titillate the viewers.
But it doesn`t excite me. I don`t think there has been "activity" nor do I think there will be.
It is an immature act.
More seriously Rodrigo could find that Charlie is his downfall. There will be no sense of loyalty from Charlie towards Rodrigo. Charlie is targetting the winning post.
I wish Rodrigo could see that he would be wise to take a step (or two) back.

I'm tired of the pair of them.

well editing aside...what i am seeing with my own eyes, is a couple who kiss each other with great fondness.

people who really have no attraction and just despise each other wouldn't do that. I could believe Charlie might be overdoing it as part of a gameplan, but Rodrigo is not.

They're both of a similar age, both in the gays, It's no great surprise thet they hang out, they have a lot in common.

The mask slips when he gets angry, just like it does with Charlie. Normally though he would say he likes everyone and would be quiet often when people are talking about others, so not giving any opinion. I remember about some of the talk about Freddie earlier on in the series, he never said anything against it and just kept quiet.

Charlie is the happy Geordie lad and Rodrigo is the carefree sunny Brazilian.....until they get angry and we see beyond the facade.

I think they like each other... but I think Rodders has serious issues about having his personal space invaded.. not just by Charlie, but by anyone. Anytime the physical horseplay starts with him he really freaks out - he was the same when Dogface started the tickling thing.

I'll rephrase - I think Rodrigo likes Charlie (most of the time) and Charlie fancies Rodrigo? I still think Rodrigo has issues though.

He does get angry who dosent I do, we are not all perfect are we,still rather put up with his hissy fits than watch the others being nasty and two faced also Rodrigo does not hold grudges after fall outs ,I like that in a person ,if you say his mask is slipping it must have slipped from week one he has always spoke out good for him

I think by now Charlie should know what Rodrigo's boundaries are, they're pretty defined, but he still tries to push his boundaries and then wonders why Rodrigo gets annoyed.

He does but he is too aware of that and he uses a bit artificially sometimes.

As much as I like Rodrigo I do think their relationship is one of convenience.

Don't forget that only a matter of weeks ago Charlie said to him (whilst under the duvet) "Let's make people think there is something going on".

Also, the language Charlie uses towards Rod sometimes is disgraceful.

Actually they are all getting into relationships in the house, Freddie said Siavash was only in a relationship with Noireen to get magazine deals,makes me think what his relationship with Bea is all about.
