I said exactly the same thing yesterday, very few threads about him that are positive and haven't seen any real signs of him having a huge following so how is he favourite to win? Somebody replied and said that Mikey didn't really have much support on here last year and he almost won

He's popular on the CH4 site going by the comments,especially the teeny texters.

Mikey had more support on here last year than Charlie has.

I've only noticed one Charlie fan here so far , this teen can't stand Charlie, Rodrigo and Sophie but they will all get the teen votes .

Charlie could be this years Stuart from BB5 who was near the top in terms of odds and ended up being evicted before the final .

I wonder why..Maybe its because he has adopted some of the personalities of past winners....

It's the same on DS too. On their "Favourite HM" poll, Charlie's 7th and Rodrigo's 8th.

The theory seems to be that their popularity is a lot higher with the more "general" public rather than the hardcore BB fans, but I've absolutely no idea what evidence that's based on...

Stuart was genuinely well-liked, though. The audience reaction to his eviction remains one of the best ever - there was so much cheering that the other HMs inside the house thought the series had ended early and Stuart had been declared the winner!

The thing was that although viewers liked him, they clearly didn't think he deserved to win - a crucial distinction...

I find it strange as well as he is not very popular on the forums ,but people are puting bets on him to win so he must be popular outside the forum .
