It allows companies or individuals to track which websites you visit. You can remove it with a programme called 'Spybot', which is free.
Yup, it's a cookie that tracks what you do, where you go and what you look at etc. It then helps report it all to advertising agencies and spam mail companies etc.
Or
It could be just a harmless tracking cookie you get from sites like this (gagajoyjoy)
You can delete it, but it will come back as soon as you sign in to whatever site you got it from.
You get them EVERYWHERE.
Most are harmless, some are not. But at least your anti-virus picked it up.
In short.
Nuffink to be worried about.

Beware the tracking zombie cookies.. they will get you
Fank ewww lol, phew thought id be in bother with IT guys as the companies e-mail are not being delivered to us and are stuck at the domain and I thought id do my bit by checking Anti Virus.
Do recommend you install Spybot, as recommended by Mathematics.
I have AVG running, but recently had a horrible malware get through (it was called SystemSecurity 4.52), it also gets through Norton & McAfee security suites too.
This program was a pain the backside to get rid of, as amongst other things it denied me access to the internet, to AVG, and in the end to any of my programs, including the task manager.
I ended up having to go and find the bugger manually, whilst in Safe Mode.
If I had had Spybot installed I would have been ok. I have it on my pooter now!

Thanks for the advice guys, im going to download spybot not, cheers x
I Use "AVIRA" it's free and good at catching all sorts of crap.
The old CH4 forums were loaded with tracking cookies.
As someone has said, these cookie things will invariably return.
But it`s not a bad idea to clear them out from time to time. It frees things up a bit. (Rather like my grandma used to when she took off her stays (corsets.)
But if your own virus scan detected it, you could use that to delete it.
