All BBUK winners have been basically nice people.
Marcus hasn't a hope! Glance

If you are looking for perfection then nobody in the house is nice. If they focussed more on Hira people would probably start to see big flaws there too.

It is true that fence sitters often have a chance of winning particularly it seems in more recent BBs.

As for all winners being 'nice' that is a highly questionable comment at best. Anthony was an arrogant idiot who was nasty to some in the house, was ungracious to Eugene and was booed when he entered and when he left (posing). Nadia was far from nice and had strops every other day, just a fag hag. Kate played most of the men in the house to get into the winning position. Pete played some of the women in the house to help get him into the winning position. I didn't watch 1,2,8,9.

No chance.

I think he appeals to only a small demographic, i.e blokes who like farting jokes, collecting dolls watching Star Wars, and rebelling against their mam when she asks them to clean their room......not the typical BB audience...although there will be some i'm sure. Laugh

Whereas he can have wider appeal short term, when he's having one of his non-twatty amusing moments, there's nothing much else there to make him a mass favourite in my opinion.

I said 'basically' nice people, so why would you bring perfection into it?
No one is perfect, are they?

Obviously, I will disagree with your thoughts on previous winners. Your definition of a 'fag hag' is certainly a new one, however literal, but Nadia only had problems with people like Jason and Victor (understandable) and her nicotine habit (also understandable). She was still, basically, a nice person.

Kate 'played' no males in the house. I can remember her fancying Spencer, but accepted that it was not reciprocated (I wish the males in this year's BB would learn that lesson!).

As for your description of Anfonee, it sounds just like Marcus actually and nothing like Anfonee. Yes, he was a poseur, but I never felt he was nasty or arrogant.

He's far more 'pervy' than Brian ever was.

He must have soaked that duvet (wanky blanky) by now.

And, have you not heard him asking the laydees for 'cuggles'? Sick

Apart from that, I agree that it doesn't look good for him winning! Glance

Well I disagree with you. As for the comparison of Anthony to Marcus... Big Grin Anthony didn't have the humour of Marcus, he was purely in it to try and win. Those kind of people are so boring (Rodrigo and Charlie are examples of that this year). The whole Captain Cool thing is a joke done for humour, much like what Victor did.

He's got a long way to go to catch up with Belo, don't you remember how creepy he was with the twins Sick

Marcus supporters often use the 'humour' excuse.

If you laughed at his 'humour', he'd probably show you what real pain was like! Laugh

Anfonee had plenty of funny moments, not always intentional, but my argument was that he was basically a nice person (the way he dealt with Craig's crush on him, being a good example), whereas Marcus is not.

Marcus is arrogant, has been nasty and ungracious, and is a massive poseur.

Besides, I wasn't comparing Marcus to Anfonee, I was comparing your description of Anfonee to Marcus.

No he wasn't, he was nasty to some in the house - for example to Sam and Science (he called Anthony 'Tweedlewat' didn't he?). He was a friend of Maxwell, surely that tells you all you need to know. And then he tried it on with Makosi to try and seal his victory. His pretending he wouldn't have taken the 50,000 like Eugene in his eviction interview was completely false and done to make Eugene feel guilty.

I was glad Eugene got the 50.000, Anphoney just sounded bitter.

He had a crush on Amanda, but I don't remember ever feeling it was creepy.

Marcus, on the other hand... Sick

what about his poking the finger through the hole he had made with his other hand whilst sneering at amanda.

OK, we're never going to agree on any of this, seeing as we have diametrically opposed ideas on every single housemate we discuss, plus the meaning of the words 'nice' and 'basically'! Wink

It's sad that Siavash can still have more support even though he isn't even playing the game. This is why there has been support for people like the Twins and Rachel in recent series. This is what Big Brother is about now, boring people who just keep under the radar and look pleasant to viewers. This is why Charlie and Rodrigo will most likely make the final as well. Neither will be as remembered as Marcus though. So there is another victor, the one who is remembered most.
