aaw, house rabbits. my 3 cats are house cats (well flat cats in my case ) Are they easy to look after indoors? Much like cats I suppose.Do you have liter trays?quote:Originally posted by kattymieoww:
I wouldn't have it,carpets are cosier. Also my house rabbits wouldn't like it they need to grip with their claws. They won't go into the kitchen or bathroom because the floors are tiled.

yes I am!!
I have it downstairs and if you drop a 10p the noise reverberates all over the house. This morning the cat took a dump in the dining room (she's old poor thing) and at least it was easily cleaned.

Stay away from the edges otherwise you'll end up with a mouthful of that fluff you always find even hours after cleaning.
We, or should I say my husband put down L/F in our living room last December - it's 24foot by 13 foot and as we had a good deal on expensive stuff (via trade)it was apparently tough going to put down . Now however, I wouldn't be without it (Oak) - he also double checked vids on you tube - now he's putting in a new kitchen (it cost us or should I say my late father ÂĢ10,000 trade)we have also got 'stacked up our new bathroom and paid ÂĢ4.000 for tiles, ÂĢ1,000 for the shower, etc, etc if my daughter puts/considers putting on her black hair dye in there well - she won't, she'll be outside with a hosepipe!
We have to kick in with the kitchen again as soon as he comes home - we didn't get to bed until 3.30am this morning - three hours sleep! Then there's the bathroom to do!.... He is a uni educated engineer to MSc level so he has no excuse.

Not for those with vertigo
Fabulous, I love that
I'm not too keen on laminate but like some of the tiles which were shown in the earlier link.

Go for lino/vinyl tiles instead. You can get some really decent looking ones - even laminate looking if you fancy it. They are much quieter, more hard wearing and easier to keep clean. Also if one does get damaged its just one square to peel up and replace.
Some right funky ones here....

I put vinyl tiles in my girls bedroom coz they are messy feckers. It doesn't look as good as laminate but it'll do them until they are old enough to stop making mess. I'm thinking that'll be never so it'll do till they move out
Mine are 14 and 16; They just get messier! Seriously!!quote:Originally posted by Cagney:quote:Originally posted by MoFo:

I have years of it still to go. I'm kicking them out to college at 16 though. They have been pre-warned
I was gonna put them both in a convent a couple of years back!!! Theyve not been too bad lately tho (am touching wood as I type) Their obsession with JLS is getting a bit outa control, but believe me if thats all theyre worrying me about, then thats fine by me!quote:Originally posted by Cagney:quote:Originally posted by Little Miss Spurs:Mine are 14 and 16; They just get messier! I have to agree with you both regarding kids being messy - as I said in my post above/other page - we are doing our house up to a standard we can afford thanks to my late Dad - however, my 23 yr old daughter is still at home and her room will be the last we do out of the whole house - after having done the LR (still touches as in a few wall dÃĐcors to decide on) and we're putting in the kitchen as we speak with the bathroom (except the new toilet and bath to be chosen ) all being in my eldest son's bedroom ) it's like a B&Q warehouse ) anyhow, my daughter would just abuse our efforts/expense as she places cosmetics everywhere and straighteners etc, so no, her room will be the last to be decorated, after she's left/been evicted tbh. Can you blame us? (she has as I've said many time on here before enough money from my late Dad and she has a good job and serious boyfriend) so she can get her act together imo, or in hubby and my opinion. God, I sound awful, but enough is enough with kids as they're become adults!

JLS seem a good choice to me
Mine are following in my footsteps in the men fancying area. One fancies the singer from Fall Out Boy and the other fancies Joel Madden. I told them that they are for older girls but they said "if you mean like you then don't you mean old ladies?" (they are only 9)
Dont like the stuff much prefare carpets.
Like the time my youngest (she was only 5 at the time) asked me if I "remembered" the dinosaurs from when I was little!!!!!quote:Originally posted by Cagney:quote:Originally posted by Little Miss Spurs:I was gonna put them both in a convent a couple of years back!!!
