If it were not for her callous treatment of Siavash, she would have stayed, so the whole episode was very relevant IMO.
A lot of people including me, were quite sympathetic toward her regarding Marcus's controlling behaviour toward her. Siavash and Issac sealed her fate...Good riddance.

I agree that Siavash to some of the audience was needed so that they could actually see what Noirin was about. It's really sad that they needed that, but I suppose they couldn't give a shit about other men if they didn't consider them beautiful enough for the rather ugly person (ugly inside for sure) that Noirin was.
