i was drinking wine with a friend, she offered to watch it with me but i told her no..she would only get offended if i told her to STFU if she talked through it!

I'm ok to date - well this minute - our new kitchen has arrived (hubby hasn't finished the floor tiling in the kitchen ) the damaged ceiling of our new all singing and dancing power shower is due to arrive asap. My 'newly' decorated LR looks like a warehouse, I've loads of cupboards to empty from the wall units (no boxes 'til hubby's home)there's stuff in places I've forgotten - it's a marathon to find the fabric softener! I know the cliche 'It'll be nice when it's finished' and we are saving labour costs as hubby's fitting etc the lot but - every thing's a mess! Then we have three bedrooms to do and they're a case of 'if you can't find it' it's in my sons' room.

Who wants piles of novels and paperbacks ? I have boxes from lecturing/teaching and don't want to throw them out - I can't do e-bay, too much hassle.
Therefore, if I disappear from the forum, hubby's home and we're tiling/shifting/boxing.thinking etc

this is true, actually he does alot for me that bloke - i think i'll give him a big smacker next time i see him.. as long as BB isnt on

My OH reckons I watch too much 'make believe TV'...Corrie etc...when he said it about BB I reminded him it was reality TV and therefore his argument was null & void...to which he walked out of the room!!
