the fail must have been about 45 mins into the highlights show, so we had about 20 minutes to vote? once we got all the ads and other stuff out of the way?

I voted yesterday. I voted "WOO" so that they (the housemates) would get a decent food budget. You had to vote before 7 o'clock yesterday evening.

No because the fail was announced yesterday, since it was before Isaac arrived. This shit is confusing me.

There's been suspicion about how this has been handled. Have a look at the video on the official site: after a decision was reached they reset the ratings, and it is now 77% positive (which would have been a clear pass.)
