Apparently he made some attempt but was well enough to go on BBBM later that day.
A friend of mine is an ambulance driver and he gets really mad when he has to attend to what he calls the attention seeking hysterics who have slashed their wrists the wrong way (across).He always shows them the correct way to do it if they really want to die.They never do it again!

Apparently it was just a cry for attention, not an attempted suicide, I hear.
From what I read im the paper (so it must be true). he was treated for cuts and grazes, none of them serious, as he'd used a butter knife to do it while watching BB in his room at Uni.
