Poor Popey! He didnt have a clue what was going on, i have many reasons for hating him also - the furore about Taxes then bleating on about children dying in Africa... hypocrite!

otel.com or toptable.com for hotels. Although you might need to be quick they could be quite full if there is an event on.

My Sister works for them so the Tickets are free, might as well! Big Grin

I'll look at those cinds, thanks Valentine

I don't know SHeffield at all and don't want to pay a fortune in a Taxi from the Venue to the Hotel....Big Grin

trams run very late and there is a stop right outside the stadium, takes you into city centre and other areas,

I,m from Sheffield - there are a couple of premier inns type places near by or pretty close also an ETAP hotel which is very cheap. A purple (I think at meadowhall) and several premier inns/travel lodge in the city centre. You can get the tram its cheaper than a taxi & they always put specials on when somethings on at Don Valley or Arena. check out late rooms or something similar & only go for those with a s1 (city centre) or those near to meadowhall/arena/don valley hope that helps

I saw them at Wembley and they were terrific.

My sister had the most amazing rant about Bono while driving today. She was in croke park sat night to see them, said the sound was amazing but the stage show wasn't as good as some of the others she's seen. Anyway there they all were standing on the ground that was one of the starting points of "The Irish/British conflict" and they started to Sing Sunday Bloody Sunday and St Bono starts going on about yer one thats been on house arrest in Berma (can't remember her name) for the last 19 years( i feel for her plight etc etc). "Did he go on about how well Our country's have changed and the peace that we have now, while were standing in the very place where men were killed and tanks entered the ground, while singing SBS No he fecking doesn't" Disappointed cut to half an hour later. Good show? "Yeah it was alright but Bono's a wanker"

Oh I am rambling. Have a great time DiD
