My daughters hair is virtually waist length and she had to wear it off her face for school. Every morning I tried to do a french plait and had to give up. She ended up with bunches instead, poor child

I can do it perfectly on my hair, it's just that I can't do it properly on anyone elses.
It just doesn't look neat enough and I end up with thin and thick sections...
