I believe that Siavash has given her at least two opportunities to get out of this. She is claiming she doesn't want a relationship and he is telling her he does. He has told her its over because he doesn't just want a bit of fun yet she tells him she still wants his hugs and kisses, if she didn't fancy him then she should have just backed off, not continued leading him on.
She doesnât want to reject him out of hand; she wants to let him down slowly because she likes him and is sensitive to his feelings. She is also trying to avoid another Marcus scenario of an aggrieved suitor. It is just possible that she might still consider Siavash as possible relationship material out of the house. She is understandably reluctant to have any sort of relationship in the house following the experience of Marcus.
Noirin is assailed by various admirers whom she likes who are brimming with affection and desire for her, how is she to respond?
Given the impassioned advances she receives and her sensitivity to the feelings of her admirers, she has greater problems than most in rejecting these advances. She does not attract the indifferent and casual advances such as those by Kris to Sophie, instead she is subjected to heartfelt emotions by admirers who are impatient for a positive response and apply emotional pressure to get it. She would not be human if she did not appreciate receiving such attention from people she respects and likes and gets swept into a heady phase of hedonistic self-indulgence of the experience before she is able to apply a cold calculation of the merits of a relationship. It is only in this phase she makes mistakes such as allowing Marcus to kiss her in bed, but she doesnât repeat them when more dispassionate as someone who was being manipulative or deliberately alluring would do.
I think once Noirin has recovered from the initial euphoria of the first stages of a relationship she deeply analyses its merits and its likely longevity before she commits herself to it, whereas someone like Sophie would allow herself to be caught in her feelings of the moment and wishful thinking and fail to consider future hurdles properly and come a cropper later. I think Noirin is prescient and considers potential troubles and emotional developments and has rightly rejected Marcus and Siavash as failing these analyses, sillier women would simply go with the flow and suffer the consequences later. So unfortunately for Noirin this intelligent strategy means she will reject potential relationships at an early rather than a late stage and therefore appear to some people as being indecisive and a tease because of the number of potential relationships she curtails early. She sensibly wants to make a good decision as early as possible when the stakes are high.

With regards to Marcus she did tell him that wanted to be friends but then friends don't treat each other like that. She knew it would hurt him but went right along and got off with Siavash anyway. Both Siavash and Noirin could have been much more considerate to their "friend" here but as Noirin said last night, she had no one else so strung Marcus along, now she has someone else she can drop him like a hot potato.
She could have helped ease the situation with Marcus instead of fanning the flames, whipping her bra of so he could paint her back, sitting on his knee when they were bladdered, she was leading him on but once they got so far, knocking him back down again. See the controlling aspect and the idea that she likes men falling in love with her.
This is first order drivel and contradicted by the facts. She did not string Marcus along, she made it very very clear that she was not interested in Marcus with the exception of one night of brief fumbling when she relented to his barrage of affection, short of telling him to f off she did what she could to discourage someone she regards as a friend. You seem to think that Marcus has some sort of right of veto on Noirinâs behaviour and that he could demand how she should and should not behave. They were never a couple, she never relinquished her rights to chose her friends and relationships or to behave as an individual. The sitting on the knee was quite obviously a party antic and the fact he had to offer her a drink made it clear to anyone with any social perception skills that there was nothing in it, Siavash noted this very thing in the diary room. As to him painting her back, he pleaded with her to do it, and she relented in a gesture of kindness. That was probably an error of judgement but perhaps being bored in the house was a worse prospect.

As for showing concern for Siavashs gf, I have seen her so far come out with some gems such as "bring it on", "I don't give a fk", "let her come in here, I am with him now". Siavash is responsible for what happened with his gf but she blantently doesn't give two tosses about the fact someone somewhere may be upset about what they have done. Infact she is laughing about it.
Well Siavash has been painting a confused picture of what appears to be a non-existent person. He was initially adamant he had a girlfriend, and hence Noirin avoided him, and now he says his gf was no such thing but just someone he had been going out with for a month and promoted her in the house to girlfriend status to fend off any potential female suitors. According to Siavash, Noirin has been with him longer than his supposed girlfriend who he now declares was no such thing. It is no wonder that Noirin can hardly consider her as a real person and give her the consideration a real person would do. Additionally she made the âbring it onâ comments in front of an audience in which she seemed to be public displaying her affection for Siavash, presumably because she felt guilty she hadnât be displaying affection to Siavashâs satisfaction in private. It was the remark of someone racked with guilt trying to compensate for an act she regretted.
But fundamentally she canât make decisions about his girlfriend when it is Siavashâs responsibility and if he has now disowned his non-existent girl friend that is Siavashâs issue.

IMO its been Noirins reluctance to release control of the men that have fell in love with her. She has kept them all just within reach of her until they are drive themselves crazy or until she finds something better that comes along. Least we forget she was all ready to drop Siavash for Tom but when he left she quickly backtracked. If she hadn't she would have been pretty much alone in that house.
But this is just ridiculous, the facts clearly state otherwise. She STILL wants to be friends with Marcus even though she is emotionally engaged to some degree with Siavash. She clearly never fancied Marcus so she has nothing to gain from his affections. These are not the acts of someone who dumps people when âsomeone better comes alongâ she clearly likes Marcus in many ways and she has shown extraordinary consideration of her feelings. She demonstrated the same saintly behaviour to the odious, conceited, irritating twat Sree which 99% of the rest of the female population couldnât have matched.
