Seeing how Tom`s parting words caused her anxiety, other housemates tried to offer words of comfort.
There are other examples of this in this series and previous ones, when housemates are trying to reassure a housemate that things will be OK on the outside.
Do you think this is wise?
I do understand it, but when they say things such as "I am sure he/she will be waiting for you", they are guessing after all.
Their words of assurance could be wrong.
I wonder how honest housemates should be when offering comforting (?) words.
