I'm with you Marguerita.

He's just taken over the role of nominator in chief from Marcus who's basically out of the game. I think Freddie wants to reunite the 3 Musketeers and if that means waving bye bye to Noirin then so be it.

I think boredom and paranoia are even bigger factors this year than usual. The only topic of conversation now is each other! The thing with Freddie though is that, like Marcus, he will not say anything that he won't say to someones face. The things he says are often words of caution to the people he likes. He has certainly never stooped to Lisa's level of tracing the letters of someones name on the bus/ashtray and trying to duck out of view of the cameras whilst covering her mouth!

Freddie is NOTHING like Lisa.

Marcus, however, is very similar to Lisa.

IMO, Knobber evaluates people and situations and thinks about them very deeply (which he has to because of his severe dyslexia) before drawing conclusions. But when he does, he elucidates beautifully and says what most of us were thinking anyway, only far better and in a very upper-class tone. That is NOT bitching!

I don't think that you can equate what The Ming spouts off, in the same manner as what Knobber says - I really can't see them as being the same and if we're talking about 'character assasination' then Minger has done far more of it than Knob FFS!

Most of them gossip and bitch in there anyway but Freddie just does it in a clever way, most of them haven't got the braincells to do so. Freddie like Lisa though , not got a nasty bone in him.

You're missing one important factor in your analysis. Motivation. Lisa's little chats are more often than not to plant seeds of doubt, to complain, to grumble, to be unpleasant and spiteful. Freddie's are more often than not verbalised thoughts, a stream of consciousness, processing.

Freddy always says things to people's faces and he's usually spot on as well. That isn't bitching.
Bitching is character assassination behind someone's back to influence opinion = Lisa/Marcus.

They all talk about each other. That`s one of the basics of group dynamics on which the programme is founded.
The word bitch is too strong I think for most of these chats (although I think perhaps Lisa has done a bit of it more than once.)

Freddie
