feel quite down tonight - been really agitated the last couple of weeks and tonight it really seems to be getin to me!!!

Sorry to hear you're feeling that way......why don't you try pampering yourself by getting into a nice bubble bath and ligting some candles to help you relax.......even 15 minutes of meditation will help to clear your mind and get to the root of the problem.

life has a habit of seeming to bring all bad things together at once i know.
its not been alot better for me either, stay positive hun, get together with your friends/family relax and have a little fun, keep smiling.

you're right there are some lovely ppl on here!!
I am just really stressed because both my nannas have died this year and there has been loads of other bad stuff happening and it's really getting to me because I keep epecting other bad stuff to happen - can't seem to stop myself thinking like that!!
Plenty of people on here will be willing to listen - chilling out with some music sounds like a good idea

Maybe make an appointment at the doctors. He might send you to a grieving councillor.
PP, it could be because your mind has been completely focussed on your finals, and now you know you have passed, all the other emotions such as the grief are now entering centre stage.

I think you're right - whilst everythin was goin on I had uni as a distraction but now I don't have any distraction really!!

I think it quite normal after someone died close to you to think that something awful going to happen. Because your whole world just be crushed.
I thought I would go to bits when my mum died. it took me a while but I got there in the end. It's made me stronger.

Sorry to hear that you have had a rough time.
It is important that you think more positively though. For as long as you remain feeling down and with the feeling that more bad stuff is going to happen, you are essentially blinding yourself to the positive things going on around you, and you will sink further. If you try to concentrate wholly on the good around you, things will become easier, and before you know it life wonât seem as though it is out to get you.
Positive attitude, even if it seems difficult at first. Walk around all day with your ipod on if you have to.

yup, that's often the way of it.. when you were at uni you were busy and all that adrenalin had an outlet, sometimes it's when the pressure's off it all catches up. Just be good to yourself! If you feel the mood's not shifting, see your doc and maybe get meds reviewed. Remember, it'll pass!Take care
