This is a very minor issue. It's actually quite funny when Marcus says he knows everything. He does get some things right though. He seemed to suspect that Noirin was just playing with Siavash and liked Tom, and he was proved absolutely right. Noirin was still lying to him pretending she only liked Siavash.
