no offence, I like a good discussion
No offence taken - I didn't think I was challenging your facts - just posting an opinion.
Big Grin I felt you were challenging my opinion! ...that Bea is not a true hippy ......

I used to be a hippy (not in the sixties though)and still hold some of the hippy values such as not being materialistic and looking after the planet and trying to be peaceful and loving etc

if she was for real she would have bedded Freddy several times by now and in fact should be right now staging a love in

Sorry I didn't intend that - I was a hippy in the sixties and the point I was making was that there is no such thing as a true hippy. All we were interested in was the free love and breaking the shackles of 'society'. A whole load of philosophy became attached at a later date but at the time it was just good fun.

All this talk of hippies. There were never any REAL hippies, just the commercialised ones. The real hippies were recycled beatniks and bohemians who morphed into Greenham Common women and today's environmentalists.

Before they televised Glastonbury there was a chance to see the Hippy in its natural habitat.I live near a couple of areas occupied by hippies whose offspring are environmentalists/hippies and some of them are still unchanged from the 60's.
