I think they didn't need to. And Bea didn't remind him of the remark because she didn't want to drop the others in it by revealing they told her. She was very clever about it and I understood her tactics. I think she played him well, he got well flustered and angry and obviously isn't used to being spoken to like that, especially by a woman.

He got completely Pwned!! on more than one occassion.

Charlie started the argument moments before by telling bea what had been said, so when she started saying something to Kenneth and he was asking where she'd had that idea from, they both stayed silent.
