My son is 18 he’ll be 19 in 10 day’s. Last Saturday my son was approached in our High Street by someone wanting him to attend a group discussion for Ipsos Mori about our council. The discussion will take 2 hours and he’ll be provided with refreshments and paid £35.00 and will it take place tomorrow at our local community centre.
I asked him what he was going to discuss, my son who doesn’t drive is going to ask why we haven’t got speed bumps in our road? Our road is a 1.6 hill, if you haven’t got a 4 x 4 you can only get up it in 2nd gear, we live at the top of it and when you look outside my front door you can see Canary Wharf which is 18 miles away. When it snows the Hill is covered with children from everywhere, same New Years Eve, people drive from miles to watch the London fireworks. The last thing we need is bloody speed bumps it’s hard enough to get up the hill when cars are coming down as it is. I might just tie him up and give him £35.00
